(12-21-08)
Hey kids,
I just wanted to wish everyone "happy hollow-days"! If you have some free time, be sure to checkout my animated hollow-day short, "Go Fly A Kite" now in it's 3rd anniversary (a holiday classic if there ever was one!)

(7-03-08)
Today is my dear sister's 28th birthday. Happy birthday M.G.!

Very sad news today, comedian George Carlin is dead at the age of 71. He will be missed.

(3-25-08)
Howdy kids,
Hope everyone had a sad and safe St. Patty's Day / Easter.

I just wanted to let you know that sad machine has a new in-house line called "rock-it-iboy!" based on my upcoming series of animated shorts. You can checkout the new rock-it-boy! designs here, here, and here! Also we have a ton of new and remixed shirt designs available in the gallery!

Howdy kids,
You may have noticed our site was down over the weekend. Our hosting company was "upgrading" their hardware. The upgrade was supposed to last an hour or two in the wee hours of Saturday morning but ended up lasting about 3 days. I apologize for the interruption!

Updated: We're switching hosting companies so please pardon any further outages over the next day or two.

A new day dawns...
Howdy kids! Lots-o-news so I'll get right to it.

I'm happy to announce that we FINALLY have new designs available!!!

We have a new sickly sweet in-house brand called "CutesyPop!". CutesyPop! will feature lighter, tongue-in-cheek designs focusing on ice cream, candy, and whatever makes me cringe with cuteness. I've had a lot of fun with the first batch of designs. You can check'em out here:

"Sucker!", "Love Bites", and "yum yum bubble gum!". More designs are coming soon!

Just a quick note: We changed our phone number to 561.602.8778. I was one of the uber geeks standing in line last week outside of the local Apple store, waiting for a shiny new iPhone. Now that we have one we're ditching our lamer landline. So once again, the new number is: 561.602.8778.

(4-14-07)
Hey Kids, sad machine inc. turned 4 whole years old on Wednesday! After 4 awful years we figured it was time to redesign the site. Please pardon the awkward look as we cram the new design onto the site. We'll be updating the older (smaller) pages ASAP. Just a quick note: everything is still functional and you can still order all the sad you can stomach.

(3-06-07)
Hey Kids! How've you been? I know it's been awhile since I've posted any news but that doesn't mean a lot hasn't been going on at the ol' sad machine! Firstly we'd like to congratulate some very good friends of the machine, Loveleen and his lovely wife Dipty, on the birth of their beautiful baby girl, Kaajal. CONGRATS!!!

Also "Get Well" wishes to our friend Jade. Get well soon!!!

I'd like to let you know that I've signed a licensing deal for sad machine merchandise! Just think of it... in a few short months you can burn down your house with your very own sad machine lighter! Or cry yourself to sleep every night on your official sad machine pillow! Or write out your "Revenge List" with your very own sad machine pen and pencil set (you know the inks going to be red!) The possibilities are endless :)!

Hey I've lowered the prices for my classic designs! I really hate doing it but the office is getting too crowded with old stock. So I've lowered the prices to move the old shirts to make some room for some really KILLER NEW DESIGNS! The new prices range from $11.99 - $13.99 for guys and girls short sleeve shirts. Long sleeves are priced $15.99. This in not a sale. These are the new prices for all classic designs while supplies last. When the new designs come out they'll get the standard $18.00 - $19.00 dollar prices. So if you've been eyeballing a few designs, now's a great time to pick up some classic gear.

I think that's all the news, at least for now...

Laters,

Oh ickle teenies. Oh precious twenty nothings... It's been so long... so very long since we've posted any news at all. But that hardly means there hasn't been boatloads of news at the old sad machine. Here are some of the lowlights:

- sad machine inc. turned three whole years old (on 4-25-06)! We didn't think we'd last 3 weeks. So THANK YOU guys for letting us continue to crank out the gloom!

- Sponsored band KLIK has a three-page spread in the 1000th issue of Rolling Stone! So congrats to KLIK!

- We have some top secret news (that we mentioned awhile back) that continues to push forward. As soon as the contracts are signed, we'll let you know (and make a big deal about it.)

- We had a three-foot Honey Bee Hive removed from the bowels of the sad machine head quarters. Needles to say, the bees were P*ssed! Thankfully though, bee czar's evil plot to over throw sad machine has been thwarted.

- Oh have we mentioned that we're in the process of moving sad machine to Oregon? That's right. No more hurricanes for sad machine! Click here to see why we're moving.

- eric's hard at work drawing the fall line and if we may be so bold, the designs are KILLER (literally)!

- This month's current iGod of our iPod: "The Jessica Numbers" by The New Pornographers. (Last Month's was the retro gem "Love will Tear Us Apart" by Joy Division.)

Thanks again!

- "e" to bees

Howdy Kids... it's time for Magic again. Magic is a huge convention in Vegas where we try and get retailers from around this cruel world to carry sad machine gear. We'll be gone all week and won't get back to the office until Sept 5th. We'll still be taking orders over the website but the orders won't ship until the 5th. To make up for the inconvenience, we'll throw in free buttons and stickers with all t-shirt orders placed between 8-28-05 through 9-4-05. Wish us luck... or else!

(8-16-05)
Oh Rob Zombie... won't you be OUR boogie man... ?
That being pondered, we have tons of wonderfully bad news. Eric's the "fall of 2005" line is in stock and ready to rock. Checkout some of our favs from the new line. "cupid", "misery loves machinery", mazie "love is forever", "luka von spooka", "land of the machine", "burn", and "xx" & "xy". You can find all of the new designs as well as our cult classics in the "gallery" section.

Also JUST IN... FULL SIZED POSTERS! We have posters of "st. valentine's massacre" and "cupid". We'll be adding them to the site shortly but in the meantime, feel free to order them via email.

We're getting ready for the upcoming Magic Apparel Show. Wish us luck (or else!)

Hey kids sad machine inc. turned two whole years old this month and it's time to start thanking people: First I'd like to thank a few new stores, tattoo parlors, and boutiques for carrying my gear:

Dave and the cool folks at Adrenaline Tattoos (esp. the Vancouver Parlor) : check'em out at www.adrenalinetattoos.com.

"Reno's coolest store since 1996" the MELTING POT : call 775.322.9445 for directions and tell Monique I said "howdy".

The uber cool cat Felix Huwiler from Jamarico Musicland AG all the way in Zurich Switzerland. (I guess even swiss-miss boys and girl's get sad too...)

Phase ID in the Mckinley Mall in Buffalo N.Y. Call 716.8232.5595 for directions and wing recipes.

Gloom it up while they lay the ink down at Dead Rockstar. Check'em out at www.deadrockstar.net and ask them what the hell "dermal punching" is...?

I'd like to thank all of the shops that carry my gear with very special thanks to the lovely ladies of Raw Violets and the Phabulous Mz. Birdella Stotts of Birdellas. These two indie shops were some of the first to take a chance on my gear and they still carry my stuff today. So thanks!

I'd like to say thanks to my friends and family for all of the help and support. I'd like to thank everyone that goes out of their way to promote my art or takes the time to write in to tell me "to keep it up." I'd like to thank everyone that spent their hard earned money and paid UPS's astronomical shipping prices to buy my gear. Thanks Everyone!!! - e

Howdy Kids – It’s that time of year again! We’ll be exhibiting at the Magic Apparel Show all next week. This is the show were we try and hawk all of Eric’s dismal designs to retail stores and boutiques. If any of you can make it to the show, we’ll be all the way back in “the Edge”, sulking in booth # E32168. Since nobody will be in the office to ship out orders (between Feb 12th – 19th) we’ve temporarily disabled the “FedEx 2-Day” shipping option. All customers placing an order while we’re out will receive FREE STICKERS with their order for the trouble. We’ll be adding a ton of new stuff to the site when we get back so stay tuned!!!
Lost Vegas, here we come...

(1-25-05)
Howdy Kids, it’s been awhile since we’ve posted any news but that certainly doesn’t mean there isn’t plenty of stuff going on at the old sad machine.

First off, we’ll be unveiling around a dozen killer new designs for the upcoming Magic Show in Vegas. We’ll be adding the new shirts, buttons, and stickers to the site right after the show.

Secondly, we’d like to thank everyone that participated in our December sticker give-away. It was a lot of fun receiving all of the decorated envelopes! A special thanks to Shawn W. for all of the hand drawn stickers. Thanks Shawn!

Finally, we’ll be re-working the “screw” section of the site in the next month or two. Since we’ve always considered “screw” the part of the site especially for “you guys” (our lovely, loyal users and customers), let us know if you have any suggestions for the new improved “screw” section. If there’s something you’d like to see on that page, let us know. If there’s something you’re sick of seeing, let us know!

Oh, one very last thing. All of you sick twisted fans of the Serial Kritters, keep your little twisted fingers crossed... You just might see a TOY Kritter or two, in a miserable mall near you! (More details as they happen!)

(12-1-04)
Merry f’n’x-mas! The entire month of December, we’re giving away two free stickers to anyone that sends us a self-addressed stamped envelope (make sure the envelope is at least 4" X 4".) No strings. You don’t even have to buy anything! It’s our way of saying thanks for making 2004 the saddest year ever!
